RECENT WORK
GROUNDWORK SUMMER INTENSIVE
Filmed and edited both class showcases and a recap video for a summer dance bootcamp called Groundwork, founded by Jaysu focusing on beginner fundamentals for hip-hop, locking, waving, etc.
GROOVE VOLUME SERIES 1
Worked on a series with GRooVe, a training/exhibition team based in OC. Its parent team, GRV, is a renowned dance team that has placed and won many competitions. Featuring many different and talented dancers, I was asked to help conceptualize and create three different videos based on each of their creative directors' visions.
Conceptualized over 3 months, pre-production began in January where I met with Ethan Estandian, Ivan Peredes and Claire Ku about each of their projects. Filming started in February where each project took about 6 hours each throughout multiple days in the month. Editing started in March and was uploaded at the end of the month after various notes and versions with each director.

RUTS DANCE STUDIO
Worked for this dance studio as an intern-turned-employee from when it opened back in 2019 by Eileen and Diny Kim. Focusing on community and high-quality dance classes, this studio offers the best instructors in K-Town ranging from the fundamentals in popping, hip-hop and grooves to advanced choreography by renowned choreographers in the community and industry. (Obvious plug hahaha)
Currently in charge of everything media related and curator of the look of videos that they use for promotions, classes, etc. Also in charge of training media interns that help capture and edit footage whenever it is needed.
Below are some examples of showcasing choreographers that teach in our space, personalizing each video for each instructor based on what they bring to the space, while carefully staying true to the aesthetic of the studio itself. These videos also double as promotional content for both the teacher and the studio so I take very great care in curating what clips to include in the very short edit.
